How long is a session and how often will I see you?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes long. Depending on the service or package you choose, we will see each other weekly or bi-weekly for 6- 8 weeks. This also depends on the individual and their journey--we may work together longer than 8 weeks. The frequency and duration of sessions can be adjusted in order to best meet your needs.

If seeking ABA therapy or Therapeutic Behavioral Consultation, sessions will typically be longer than 60 minutes depending on medical necessity.

What are your fees?

If you select "Book Now," you can see a list of fees for those who are paying out of pocket. Payment is due before or at the time of service.

How do I make an appointment?

Please schedule a free 15 minute consultation first. After that, we can schedule our first session together or you can select "Book Now."

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel less than 24 hours notice of your appointment, you will be charged your session fee.

What population do you work with?

I work with array of clients from children with ASD and ADHD to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I also work with individuals who suffer from depression and/or anxiety. I work with individuals dealing with trauma and PTSD. I also work with schools providing behavioral and educational consultation. I work with companies and businesses offering organizational behavior management. I also work with parents who are struggling with their children who have behavioral challenges or going through a custody battle and may need extra support. People that work with me are looking for meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

What can I expect in a session?

Our sessions will be 60 minutes and will focus on you and your needs. Our initial session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to understand your situation. We will work on setting goals and formulating evidenced-based ways to begin working on those goals.

Do you take insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we take insurance for certain services. We accept VA Medicaid (Molina, Anthem Healthkeepers, Sentara Health Plans, and United Healthcare), Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna for ABA therapy. Therapeutic Consultation is offered through the VA Medicaid DD Waiver (CL or FIS Waiver). If seeking Clinical Behavior Analysis, Drama Therapy, and/or Health and Wellness Coaching, these services are offered via private pay.

Do you offer a sliding scale?

Please call to discuss sliding scale, discounts, and scholarship options. No one will be turned away for inability to pay.

Question 9

What is Clinical Behavior Analysis?

Clinical Behavior Analysis is similar to psychotherapy; however, in this case we would build a treatment plan and graph your progress and measure your behavior along the way. You will be able to see your progress each week. It is based in behavioral science.

How do you incorporate all of your expertise and modalities?

Services can be offered separately or in packages. For example, you may only want to utilize drama therapy or perhaps, you would like to incorporate drama therapy and health and wellness coaching--this would be considered a package.

What would educational and/or business consultation look like?

Accepted Answer

Meeting with the client to discuss goals and concerns, coming up with a plan to address those utilizing organizational behavior management, and drama therapy for businesses. For schools, we would also discuss goals and concerns and develop a behavior plan for the student.
